This Privacy Policy explains what personal information KingdomBuilding Leadership, Inc. (“KBL”) collects through this website, why, who helps us process it, and the choices you have. Personal information means information about an identifiable individual, such as your name, email address, phone number or organization.
Last updated: October 8, 2026
What we collect
- Enquiries: what you enter in the contact form, including any documents you attach.
- Job applications: your application, résumé, cover letter and any other documents you send.
- Purchases and RSVPs: your name, email address, organization, phone number, guest names and notes, and what you bought. Payment details are collected by Stripe; KBL never sees or stores your full card or bank account number.
- Technical information: your IP address is used to protect the site from abuse (we keep only a one-way hash of it) and to show prices in your currency (we use your country and don’t store it). Our hosting provider keeps standard server logs.
Why we use it
- To answer your enquiry and to consider your job application
- To process your order, schedule your program, issue receipts and keep the financial records the law requires
- To run events, including check-in for the seats you reserved
- To keep the website secure and working well
- To send you leadership insights, workshop invitations and other news, only if you have agreed to receive them; you can unsubscribe at any time
Cookies and browser storage
We don’t use advertising or analytics cookies. The site stores a few things in your own browser so it works as you expect: your cart, your currency choice and whether you have closed the event pop-up. If you sign in to view your purchases, a secure cookie keeps you signed in. Stripe’s checkout page sets its own cookies to process payments safely.
Who helps us
We share personal information only with the service providers that run this website and our business, and only as much as they need:
- Stripe (payments)
- Vercel (website hosting) and Neon (order database)
- Resend (sending emails from this website) and Microsoft 365 (our email)
- Google Fonts (delivers the fonts this site uses, so Google receives your IP address when a page loads)
Some of these providers store or process information in the United States, where it may be accessible to authorities under local law.
Keeping information confidential
We will not sell your personal information or disclose it to anyone else without your consent, except when the law requires or allows it, for example:
- When responding to a lawful request from a public authority
- When protecting or defending the rights or property of KBL or of our users
- When urgent action is needed to protect someone’s physical safety
How long we keep it
We keep enquiries as long as needed to respond and follow up, order records for as long as Canadian tax law requires (generally six years), and job applications for up to two years, as you agreed when applying. We then delete them or keep them only in anonymous form.
Photos at KBL events
KBL may take photos at its events, such as workshops, open houses and other gatherings. By attending, you agree that photos taken at the event, which may include you, can be used in KBL’s outreach and web content, such as this website and our social media.
If you have a question about a photo in which you appear, please contact us using the details below.
Your choices and questions
You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or withdraw your consent to its use. We will answer within 30 days. Please direct requests and questions to:
